Some shots of the Calgary shows below. There are rumblings this evening that they won't take the openers on the trip to Europe now which would mean my trip would be cancelled. I'm crossing my fingers since the trip would be nice.
Here's the band Far East Movement on stage. Super guys, great energy.

Here are some pictures from Edmonton. Not the show, that's tomorrow, just from the city as I walked to the bar to meet the stage manager. I'm using this opportunity to test the photo options.
The tour management team is stuck in England (weather delays) so they won't be here until showtime tomorrow. Which means the stage manager and I have extra duties in the afternoon. Oh, joy. :/
Here's the first one, the hotel is across the street from the Edmonton Journal:

Here's the update I received today with the officially released tour dates. I figure I can probably make Denmark or maybe even the Czech show before I'm ready to kill someone but I've been reminded that I should not plan on being on the whole tour. From the way it was reiterated I'm inclined to believe that they're serious about wanting me back here...but everything goes out the window as soon there's a problem.

Might as well clean out what I got. Here are a few more, I'm pretty sure I've already posted some of these.
Me (gold colored glasses), the band (and dancers), the tour manager, and Katy Perry (photobombing us); most of the Katy Perry entourage (not a lot of the crew...they apparently wanted to sleep instead of climb pyramids); and a shot of the Empire State Building taken from the roof of the Atlas building where Natalia had her record release party; Battersea Power Plant in London, I made it a point to be listening to Animals as I walked around the area.

Last year, the record company (Cherrytree Records, a boutique label under the Interscope/Universal umbrella) decided to send out one of their artists Natalia Kills to Europe first opening for the Black Eyed Peas and then doing some smaller theaters and clubs, and in between opening for Katy Perry. She would have a band with her (keys and drums and a guitarist for the first half) but needed backing vox, more instrumentation, etc.

I'm scheduled to be back out on the road through Feb and March and while I'm out there this seems like a pretty good place to jot down any craziness and post photos. It'll be nice to have some kind of record of it and if others enjoy it, that's a bonus.
Who knows, maybe *I* can write a book one day!!

I was in Norway last week, fro some rehearsals for an upcoming gig in London, UK, as part of the serious issues.
As in Trond K & the serious issues.
I hadn't seen Trond in a while so it was nice to spend a week on island on the way side of things.
After packing I had to take the bus up (since I'm all new-agy and don't have a car)
Travelroute: Gotenburg is lower right Haramsøy upper left, 20hr busride

I've been stalled like a mofo. Getting my rig together and doing something on Lees' stuff, working on a lighting plot for Spock. I'm supposed to go to my lovely niece's wedding on the 17th, but it looks doubtful. It's been a month or so of moving, getting settled, chasing furniture, trying to get my studio sorted and ready, sleeping about 12 to 16 hours a day in odd shifts (CHF wears you out a bit) and trying to prioritize. If you're waiting on something from me, you'll have it, soon.

to the second floor.
Moving house up to the top floor apt., here for the next week. When I'm moved in, however, the studio will be *just* a studio with no distractions.
Been chatting with dnafe and mudcat.. been arranging, writing, finishing up lyrics and the mix details. Just got to get it out of my speakers.

See title.
No help, no interest from "collaborators", no time, doing everything myself in between trying to do things for others. As usual. If I get a miracle, "Streets" may be done and ready for a mix by Aug. Then I start on the others. I should have been a lawyer.
