Yea I should be testing things, but this has kind of pissed me off.... and since I have a blog.
I keep finding that technical people have no idea how to look up something with Google. We run into problems, bugs or errors, and the first thing to do is to WIG OUT
Then you blame something else, and bitch about not understanding.
Next you open up Google type in words that have nothing to do with the problem. Of course you can't find an answer so point the finger again, or if you are on my team, wig out some more at my desk.
I have things to do, and while I like helping people, I don't need them sitting next me for hours wasting my time. So I look things up for them and in a matter of seconds I have the answer to the problem on the screen. I'm not saying that I'm some type of super duper Goggle searcher. I just can't understand how others can never find anything.
In some cases just this past two weeks, I'm finding answers that say to go to Oracle's MetaLink website and call up document number XXXXXXXX. Now why can't the DBAs that live on MetaLink find that document?
